This page is Max who left the evening of September 23, 2014 with the rodent in his mouth. The next morning I saw a partial double rainbow in the sky. Perhaps Max took one to the afterlife as he was never seen again.

Max
[Max's face with its huge triangular dark spot over his nose on his mostly white face is clear behind the slightly blurry leaves of the bushes in front of him.]

Max enjoyed snoozing in the sun.
[Max's lies on the sidewalk under a plastic lounge chair with his head up and his eyes tightly closed.]

This is how to successfully sleep in daylight.
[Max's lies on a cushioned dining room chair with one paw covering his eyes.]

Max decided to play with this little guy who was not really wanting to play. The mouse found refuge under the skateboard.
[A mouse has itself flattened against the ground on the inside of a tilted skateboard sitting on teh porch. The mouse has its eyes closed tightly.]

Max just wanted to play, but his little friend was trying to run away.
[Max's legs are about facing the camera about two inches from the brick house wall. The mouse has its tiny self pressed into the brick as it walks away from the front of the cat.]

Close view of the little guy before I scooted him to the yard and safety.
[Mouse sits facing the brick wall with its eyes shut, its nose touching the wall, and its tail perpendicular to the wall.]

This is either a gigantic mouse or a small rat. It was dead and hanging from Max's mouth the night we last saw him.
[Close view of the cat holding the rodent hanging from his mouth.]
